Linx Project

Across Middlesbrough, young people need opportunities outside education and the home to have fun with their friends, to be healthy and creative, to make positive change in their communities, and to shape the kind of town they want for the future.

Linx Youth Project has been providing that support for over 30 years. With local authority funding greatly reduced and activities for young people being lost as a direct result, it is more important than ever to invest in our network, our youth workers, and the young people we support.

Providing support for young people

We believe that all young people deserve the opportunity to reach their full potential, and we’re here to help them do just that. Whether you’re looking for a place to hang out with friends, get involved in your community, or just need someone to talk to, we’re here for you.

Here are just a few of the things you can do at Linx Youth Project:

Learn new skills, such as cooking, photography, or coding
Get involved in social action, such as volunteering or campaigning for change
Take part in climate action, such as learning about sustainability or reducing your carbon footprint
Get support with your education, such as getting help with homework or applying for college
Just hang out with friends and make new ones
